Your initial 3 months of care will be programmed with Dr. Laura to help ensure your success. It includes all the visits, training, and support you need to get your new lifestyle up and running for good this time.
Several appointment packages are available depending on your health needs. Get these details at your first visit.

Once your initial 3 months of care complete, you can choose how frequently you would like to follow up with Dr. Laura.
Typical frequencies for check-ins include quarterly, monthly, or bi-weekly depending on your health needs/goals.

What's it like working with me?
As a naturopathic doctor, I am trained as a "primary care provider", and function similarly to your GP. I am trained to help with everything from colds, flus, osteoporosis, heart disease, diabetes, pregnancy, kids... etc. That said, my skill set is best used in addressing chronic lifestyle diseases.
Where I differ from your GP, is in the therapies I offer:
Naturopathic medicine can be a game changer for your health, I see it clinically all the time. But it's not an either/or approach between this and conventional medicine/medication. Understand that I work alongside your other healthcare team members. I often refer my patients back to their GP for medications and blood work/lab testing when necessary, as well as other practitioners as needed for specialty therapies.
I run a general practice and see just about everything. That said, I have a passion for treating women's health, hormonal concerns, and digestive complaints, and focus much of my professional efforts on these topics.
Conventional Testing: I do not offer conventional lab testing. If tests are required, during the appointment, I will give you an appropriate referral to have these tests done with your M.D. or with other specialized practitioners.
Specialty Testing: I do offer some specialized testing at the clinic. If I think you require these tests, they will be discussed with you at your appointment. The cost of these tests is not included in your visit or package price.
My consults are covered under private health insurance if you have naturopathic services as part of your policy's benefits. Please consult your policy before booking to be certain. After your visit, you will be issued a receipt that you may submit with your claim.
I do not offer direct billing at this time.

Rescheduling And Cancellation Policy:
In an effort to serve as many patients as possible, I ask that you please give the clinic a minimum of 24 hours notice to cancel or change your appointment to give appropriate time to offer the opportunity to someone else.
How To Cancel/Change Your Appointment:
Your appointment confirmation email contains all the links you need to re-schedule your appointment using my online booking system.
If your appointment is inside the 24 hour notice window, you will not be able to re-schedule online. Please contact us by 10 a.m. one working days before your scheduled visit. If your appointment is on a Monday, call by 10 a.m. the previous Friday. (email: email@example.com)
No shows/Late Cancellations: Not cancelling your appointment or late cancellations can be costly. When you miss a scheduled medical appointment, or if you cancel it after 10 a.m. one working day before your appointment, we consider it as “no show”. Please be advised that we will:
Fees: As of February 2019, our fee schedule is as follows:
Payments: Payments are made via the online booking system. They can be paid in advance at time of booking or at the time of your appointment.
Methods of payment accepted: all major credit cards and eTransfer. Please note we do not accept cash, interac, or cheques.
PACKAGE RECEIPTS: Will be issued upon payment and indicate that you have the indicated amount "on account" with Dr. Laura.
VISIT RECEIPTS: After your visit is complete, your account will be debited for the amount owing and you will be issued a visit receipt that includes Dr. Laura's license numbers and can be submitted to your insurance.
